The Arnolds spend their summer vacation at Lake Wenatchee with the Pfeiffers, but Kevin and Paul quickly become bored. To get away from his annoying parents, Kevin and Paul have to pay Wayne and his new buddy Dave Wirtschafter he called "Wart" (Scott Menville) for a ride to the drive-in, where he meets a local girl named Cara (Lisa Gerber), and her brother Billy (Brad Hunt). For the rest of his one week vacation, Kevin spends all his time with her, and romance ensues, ditching "Mr. Hormones" Paul and his misunderstanding family behind. The two find it difficult to part ways as the summer comes to an end. Guest Starring: Robin Lynn Heath as Cara's friend Lori.

| | | I love this episode. It reminds me of growing up spending my summer vacations at the Beach meeting that special Girl. Like Kevin, I kept in touch for a while but due to long distance the relationship did not blossom as it may have otherwise. Alwayswondered what might have been... :). |
